ROBOOSTER: Robotic Booster for New Generation Held at Faculty of Engineering Unismuh Makassar

TEKNIK.UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR — The Electrical Engineering Student Association of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, held an event titled ROBOOSTER (Robotic Booster for New Generation) on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Level 3 of Iqra Tower, Unismuh Makassar. The event adopted the theme "Nurturing an Outstanding, Innovative, and Competitive Robotic Generation towards Golden Indonesia 2045."

This event was designed as an educational space and source of inspiration for students to strengthen their fundamental and advanced knowledge in robotics, as well as to prepare a generation capable of competing in future technological developments.

Two speakers were featured in this agenda. Chyquitha Danuputri, S.Kom., M.Kom, an Informatics lecturer at Unismuh Makassar, presented on the developments in robotics technology and its applications across various industrial sectors. She emphasized the importance of analytical skills, creativity, and innovation in facing the challenges of the automation era.

Meanwhile, the second topic was delivered by Muh. Yusril Darman, S.T, the outgoing Chairman of the PO Division of HME-FT Unismuh Makassar for the 2022–2023 term, who shared his practical experience in the world of competitive robotics, including robot development strategies and career opportunities in the field.
